Senator Alan Simpson from Wyoming said, “If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don’t have integrity, nothing else matters.” This powerful statement resonates with me and is the guidepost for how I operate. Velocity
Velocity is a differentiator in business, in particular in the aerospace & defense markets. US manufacturing used to have velocity, but it has been lost in the past decades of bureaucracy. Driving for results, making decisions with 80% of the information needed.
Teamwork
Teamwork is how all three values are tied together. Most folks have played organized sports at some level and know what it is like to be on “winning” teams versus “losing” teams. Winning teams work together, enjoy being around each other, and recover after taking a loss. They don’t finger-point or place blame. They are accountable and responsible. They have a team mentality.
